If you've never had an aesthetic treatment before, a little nervousness is completely normal. The good news: your first visit to HADA Aesthetics is relaxed, unhurried and pressure-free. It starts with a proper conversation, not a treatment. Here's exactly how it works.

Before you arrive

There's very little you need to do. Come with clean skin if you can (though it's not essential), a list of any medications or supplements you take, and — most usefully — a clear idea of what's bothering you or what you'd like to improve. If you're unsure, that's fine too; part of our job is helping you work that out.

Step 1: Your consultation

Every first appointment begins with a consultation. This is where we:

  • Talk through your goals and concerns — what you'd like to change and why
  • Review your medical history to make sure any treatment is safe and appropriate for you
  • Assess your skin and features in person
  • Explain your options honestly, including what's realistic and what each treatment can and can't achieve

As a nurse-led clinic, our starting point is always your safety and a natural-looking result. Sometimes the best advice is to do less — or nothing at all for now — and we'll always tell you if that's the case.

Step 2: Your treatment

Depending on the treatment and how you feel, some procedures can be carried out on the same day, while others are best booked as a separate appointment. There's never any pressure to proceed on the spot. If you do go ahead, we'll explain each step as we go, keep you comfortable throughout, and make sure you know what you'll experience.

Most treatments are quick and well tolerated, with little or no downtime — we'll tell you in advance if any temporary redness, swelling or bruising is likely.

Step 3: Aftercare and follow-up

You'll leave with clear, simple aftercare guidance and know exactly what to expect over the following days. For many treatments, results build gradually rather than appearing instantly, so we'll let you know the timeline. We also check in to make sure you're happy and, where relevant, plan any follow-up or review.

Common questions

Will it hurt?

Most treatments involve minimal discomfort, and we use techniques (and numbing where appropriate) to keep you comfortable. We'll always talk you through what to expect beforehand.

How long will I be there?

Allow a little extra time for your first visit because of the consultation. The treatment itself is often much quicker than people expect.

Can I go back to work afterwards?

For many treatments, yes — but it depends on what you have done. We'll give you honest guidance so there are no surprises.

Ready when you are

Your first appointment is simply a friendly, expert conversation about you. You can meet Jason, explore our full range of treatments, or get in touch with any questions before you book — whatever helps you feel comfortable.
